Perfect Tear® Kitchen Roll Holder

Product number: 20716

If you've ever had to reach for kitchen roll with only one hand to spare, you'll be familiar with the irritating problem of 'unravelling roll syndrome'.

Thankfully, Jo Ashurst, of Crewe, discovered this cleverly designed holder, which has a ratchet mechanism that allows you to tear off a single sheet with one hand.

Weighted by a big wide base for stability, and finished in brushed stainless steel.

This review is for an older version of this product

Firstly I wanted a roll holder to compliment my stainless steel kitchen decor and tools. Secondly this is great for one handed action. Thirdly its sturdy for my hectic needs.

Last year I switched to using supersize paper towels and am now totally addicted. The outsize rolls did, however, leave me with a problem:they completely dwarfed my existing holder! I found the Lakeland 'Perfect Tear' to be the ideal solution - its wide, chunky base and tall, central support means there are no unsightly gaps, and the whole ensemble is beautifully proportioned. Overall, I am very taken with the attractive, brushed steel design that dispenses my towels exactly when and where I want them. My 'Perfect Tear' holder has pride of place in my kitchen and I'd be lost without it.

"The perfect kitchen roll holder"

I have looked at this holder for a while, and I made up my mind to order one this week, it came yesterday, and I am now asking myself "why have I waited so long", it's great, you only need one hand to operate it, and it looks good. So go on treat yourself, you won't regret it!!

"A great product....until the knob broke off!"

We bought this a few years ago and it's served us very well. Unfortunately, the knob broke off when I picked it up yesterday, and it crashed to the floor! Looking inside, I can see that the screw has rusted and broken. ....To be fair, it's given us a good few year's service, but I just wanted to warn customers that this can happen, as it's a very heavy item if it lands on a wooden floor (or worse still, your foot!) Fortunately it landed on a soft rug, so no harm done. But I'd advise users not to pick it up by the knob! I've now ordered the new springloaded version, which looks great.

Thanks for placing your review.I'm sorry the item has let you down after six years of good service. I hope you'll be happy with the new springloaded version.

"The Best!"

This has to be the best kitchen roll holder ever. It looks and feels lovely - matt brushed steel. Quite heavy, so the roll can be pulled one handed. Visitors always ask where they can get one too! No faults imho.
