Medium Waterblock Washing Up Gloves

I recently bought a pair of these gloves from the Lakeland store and I'm happy with my purchase. These are the first waterblock gloves I've owned and they are much better than the "usual" rubber gloves found in grocery stores. I should mention I tried mine on in store first as I did read about the sizing issues, I ended going up a size which worked perfectly for me. Last point I use mine to clean my classic car so they need to be hardwearing; they haven't let me down.

I really like these gloves. I am constantly getting my sleeves wet when washing up so these have been great.

If you haven't used the earlier version of these gloves you will be delighted with them - they are brilliant at stopping water from running down your sleeves. However I still have a small pair of the earlier version and the medium I ordered this time are no bigger. Also my hands slid in and out of the earlier version much more easily than these. All in all it's still a great product, but just not quite as good as before.

Previously I've had both Medium and Large sizes but found the Large more comfortable and they could also be used by my partner. I'm disappointed now that the Large gloves are about the same size as my previous Medium ones. They're OK, but not as comfortable and my partner can't use them. I find them less easy to put on but assumed this was due to the smaller size. I realise now this is also because the lining is different. I'm giving them 3 stars as I assume that the waterstop functions, but if I'd known about the size issue I wouldn't have bought 3 pairs. I'll now look for larger gloves.

For many years I used the original waterstop gloves and was very disappointed when they were discontinued as they were fantastic. I was thrilled when you re-introduced them but extremely disappointed now I have bought the new type. They are not the same. I bought the medium size as usual but find them extremely difficult to put on and take off. I will not be buying more.
