At first glance the Joseph Joseph Slice & Sharpen is ‘just’ a good-sized, knife-friendly, double sided, non-slip polypropylene chopping board with a sensible handle – but then we realised that inside the handle is a perfectly angled V-shaped knife sharpener to keep our favourite blades in tiptop condition.

The ceramic sharpener is ideal for quickly sharpening knives before you use them and due to the non-slip rubber edge on the board it won't slip as you sharpen. Hands went up all over the room to be the first in line to have one!

"Excellent board and knife sharpener"

We have had this chopping board for over 1 year and it is excellent. After years of using cheaper boards we have found this one is superior in every way. The board has a raised edge to trap liquid and in no way is a problem. As you can see from the photos. it is perfectly suitable for chopping with any knife length. We also find the knife sharpening facility is very good and works perfectly - two functions for the price of one!

It is OK but it does leaves marks on board otherwise I like it

"Disappointing"

While the sharpener is very effective, after only a month’s use, the board itself is badly scored. Not worth the money - it would make more sense to get a separate knife sharpener and cheap boards you don’t mind discarding.
