100 V&A Lace Greaseproof Cupcake Cases - Pink & Blue

I happened upon these in one of your stores and thought they were very pretty. However, after the cupcakes were removed from the oven, the pretty designs could no longer be appreciated as the paper cases had absorbed grease from the cakes and created an oily level on the cases which ruined the delicate pattern. It's not something I've ever experienced before and unfortunately despite how pretty they are, I won't be using these again.

As a great fan of Lakeland products this is the first time that I have been disappointed...I make dozens of cupcakes/muffins/fairy cakes and I thought how pretty these cases would look..however....they absorb the grease so much that it is almost impossible to see what colour the cases are...

I bought these cases to do some cupcakes for a wedding as they are so pretty. But as the other reviewers have said, the cases absorb the grease and are unusable. You can barely see the design as the cases have almost turned translucent. There is obviously a problem with these cases

I am so disappointed, I bought these for some wedding cupcakes and they are so greasy and unusable. Such a shame as they are very pretty, but I won't be buying them again.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying these from the store a couple of weeks ago. I purchased 3 boxes to make 48 cupcakes for a colleague's party and to keep a supply as they are such a pretty design. Like other reviewers found, they became almost translucent with baking. But also, when the cakes cooled, many cases separated from the cakes so it looked as if they had been removed from the cases and put back. Luckily I had made enough extra cakes to provide 48 good ones. I returned cases to the store and received a full refund for all 3 boxes. Excellent service from staff - thank you. .
