Microwave Cookware - Red No Boil Over Milk Jug

I was encouraged to buy this by a sales assistant in the Chester shop, I have not had much success with plastic type container's being used with hot liquids in the microwave ,and my experience is they generally mark/melt easily rendering them useless .I wanted this to make porridge in ,I was very sceptical !!! however I have had this pan 2 weeks now and used it every day with no adverse effects , so credit where its due ,this so far works well and I am pleased with it ,the addition of liquid measurements would make it perfect .

We regularly boil almond milk for our coffees at home (300ml per mug) and to do 600ml in a normal glass measuring jug is a definite no-no as it would boil over. We purchased your no boil over jug this weekend and what a difference. It does exactly what it says and I can do the 600ml+ in one go and it gets 5 stars from us. However it would be so easy to get 5* Plus just by marking the jug with measurement levels. At the moment I measure the 2 quantities of milk with your new Oxo soft squeeze jug and pour it into this one but it would be much easier just to pour the right amount in first go.

Great size jug, very useful for all sorts of things as well as the original “no boil over” usage. Great quality too.

Used for the first time today to make gravy and was most impressed. I usually do gravy in the microwave to avoid having to constantly stir it on the hob, but have still needed to stop it and stir about every 30 seconds to prevent its bubbling over. With this jug, however, I was able to leave it for at least a minute at a time (it could probably have been left for even longer) with no problems at all. What a godsend when you're trying to do ten other jobs at the same time! Yes, I would definitely recommend.

I've only used it for heating milk and it's perfect. Nice sturdy plastic and large enough to heat up a good amount of milk.
