I really like the idea of this product, but when I removed a dish from the oven I could feel the heat quite quickly through the glove - it was hot enough that I needed to put the dish down fairly sharply. This hasn't been the case with subsequent dishes, and I will probably purchase another glove just to match my current one, as it's only £1.99. But I can see why Lakeland are discontinuing this item. It also isn't the most flattering of garments - on seeing me wearing it, my friend asked whether I was planning to inseminate a horse! I'd recommend purchasing a different oven glove instead.
