Crock-Pot® Food Warmer Lunchbox

There was much amusement when I bought this Crock-pot but I LOVE it. I bring my lunch in the removeable stainless steel inner pot, pack it up with left overs from dinner, put it in at 8:00 when I arrive at work and by 12:00, I have a piping hot meal. I have also used it successfully with soups and also lentils and goats cheese, where the cheese has melted all around the lentils - delicious. there is no smell from the pot - but a wonderful aroma when you open the inner pot, ready for your lunch. Curry, stroganoff, lasagne - all waiting to be warmed up in your crock-pot. Best lunch purchase

This is the perfect gadget for all office/desk workers out there! I purchased mine two years ago from Lakeland and have used it Monday to Friday ever since. I use mine for soup, but it can be used for reheating stews, casseroles, curries, chillis, your leftover tea from the night before, to name but a few. It is easy to keep clean, with a removable bowl and inner lid that can be washed by hand or dishwasher. All I do is add my soup to the bowl, seal the lid and switch it on when I get into work in the morning and then by lunchtime, three to four hours later I have piping hot food...genius!

I recently bought this item from Lakeland and have used it ever day since. Simply fill the little pan with your meal of choice, switch on and leave until lunch time. 2 hours for soup and a little longer if it's a chilli etc. Love it - I can sit down and eat at lunchtime with no waiting, no hanging about for the microwave. Only one small complaint - the food lid just doesn't stay on, even when it is not heating. So if accidentally tipped there will be spillage, as I found to my cost. Therefore every effort must be made to keep it upright at all times especially when travelling.
