Perforated Mesh Fresh & Frozen Pizza Crisper Oven Tray

This is the pizza tray I have been looking for, it does exactly what it claims, cooks the pizza throughout, and the pizza does not stick, as this was silver I was worried about it sticking, I have put a little extra flour on the base of the pizza that sits on the tray, and it just slides of when cooked, brilliant. Other pizza trays, be afraid!! I will be getting another one as I normally do 2 pizzas with the recipe I use. An easy 5 stars.

We don't have frozen pizza too often but when we do the centre always seems at best a bit sloppy & at worse under-cooked. I never realised there was something that supposedly cures this problem until I saw the Mesh Pizza Tray. Ordered it on-line with a few other things (as you always do from Lakeland!) & I have to say it does what it says to a treat - thank you so much Lakeland for yet another perfect product in your on-line catalogue.

I have just used my pizza mesh tray for the first time. The slightly raised plateau in the centre of the mesh ensures that the middle of the pizza warms up at the same pace as it's perimeter so that the whole pizza is cooked/baked more properly. I don't eat that many pizza's but this little innovation will make the whole process more enjoyable than my previous method of placing a pizza on a damply oiled baking tray. This mesh tray enables a cleaner process to be adopted.

Gets a lot hotter than normal non-stick pizza trays - normally I can remove those fine with a tea-towel but this felt a lot hotter on my hand. I'm not sure how it is to clean because it hasn't got dirty from cooking yet - just had to shake off the bits of crust. A little smaller than I expected and not as big as a normal non-stick pizza tray. Feels very light and flimsy but has held up fine to cooking. Gives plenty of space for air to circulate around the pizza.
