I bought this to replace my old hand mixer as I loved the fact that it was slow and could be gradually increased to a faster speed. I make my tiramisu with this and there's a lot of whipping and mixing. it is great and I would not be without it. You get what you pay for

For years I have been struggling to find a hand mixer whose alleged 'slow' speed meant just that. Even mid-range models that I felt were plenty costly enough resulted in my being liberally decorated with the flour I was trying to incorporate. In the end I gave in, and spent what I felt was 'far too much' on this KitchenAid - and for once, I'm delighted to be proved wrong! I can see my trusty stand mixer being retired, as the various tasks I've used the KitchenAid for so far have been taken in its stride. Real quality - 'slow' really does mean slow, and you genuinely get what you pay for.

Fantastic! Whisk attachment is amazing- whips cream so quickly. Slow setting really does allow you to mix in icing sugar without it going everywhere. You won’t be disappointed-

I was sceptical, but no more. Easy to use. Made madeleines, whisks egg and sugar then slows to add other ingredients. Controls,intuitive. Happy purchase.
