After comparing many food processors in various price ranges, I decided on the Kitchenaid. I have not been disappointed as it is very robust with enough attachments to cover a wide range of tasks. I particularly like the safety closing system on the bowl and the way you can adapt its feeding shoot to accommodate various sized foods. The price is remarkable for the quality of the product and the variety of tasks it does. WELL DONE LAKELAND AND KITCHENAID.

Smart but I'd hoped for more for the money. Buttons hard to press and non~responsive; difficult to clean; fiddly taking ages to dry; lid difficult to close when using smaller bowl; food splashes from small bowl into big one = more cleaning; dough blade is not for bread; instruction book vague; no recipes or tips; feed tubes so small much cutting of veg needed to fit. Edit: persevered and coping better with issues. Really helped at Christmas, perfect pastry in moments~adjustable slice great for veggies from chunky carrots to finely cut braised red cabbage~nuts finely ground for nut roast. etc

What can I say? Comes with two bowls and a variety of attachments. Works well. But this was clearly designed by somebody who has never had to clean a food processor. Attachments can go in the dishwasher, but the clear acrylic kit can't. You'll need a variety of small brushes if you want to get all of the food residue from the lid. More importantly the very, very sharp blade attachment does not come with safety covers - I had a very old Kenwood which had covers for the blades, an excellent idea. A simple storage box for all the attachments (as an extra) would be a nice touch.

Own a kitchenaid stand mixer and love it which is why I chose this blender. Really disappointed as it throws food up into the little nooks and crannies in the lid, therefore not mixed properly and difficult to clean. You need a degree trying to work out how to use the smaller bowl (yes even following instructions). I also don't think it grinds half as well as the one it replaced, it's like the blad is blunt. Certainly made me think again about buying this make.
