"Easy to use"
I followed the recipe on the packaging and did not have any issues. I think it's important to have chilled dough. I came out with perfect little cup biscuits.

I did not use the recipe given for biscuits. I used my own ginger biscuit recipe, which worked perfectly. I would say that the best biscuit recipes are soft pliable mixes. My advice is to throw the pink plastic part in the bin as it does not work. Instead roll your biscuit mix and use a 6cm biscuit cutter. It is important to grease and flour the tray very well. Then gently ease each round over the dome. When cooked leave on tray for about 5 minutes before gently removing them. To improve product, include 2 metal trays and a 6cm biscuit cutter. Job done!
These cookie cup moulds are a really fun idea, especially if you want to get the kids involved. They make perfectly baked cookies as well as being a brilliant shape to add a bit of fun to your baking. It's a very novel idea and I will be using these again and again. They're really great to fill with ice cream! I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for something fun and different but still great quality with great results. Highly recommend, especially for the great price! 5/5
Who on earth tested this for Lakeland? First I tried the recipe that came with the mould. Disaster! The dough stuck in the pink press even though I greased it so I ended up moulding it round the cups by hand. It then spread into one solid mass in the oven, completely stuck to the tin even though I had used Cake Release. I tried again with my own biscuit recipe but although it did not spread out like the first one it too stuck to the tin and had to be soaked off, even with Cake Release. I love the idea of making biscuits with a hidden surprise but it needs a much better quality, non stick tin.
Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to speak to the staff in the store. I'm glad they were able to put things right for you.
I loved the concept of this piñata cookie cup mould. But 3 batches later and zero success, I'm rather frustrated. I've tried to follow the recipe meticulously and used all the tips I could find, but nevertheless my cookies have spread. Can't use any of them.
We're sorry to hear you've been disappointed with this product and will be in touch soon to help.
