"hugs nothing thing" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Fruit and vegetable huggers are a total waste of money they have mostly sat in the drawer. The small one is still to big for a cucumber, the others I have managed to use medium for a pepper and an onion . but only because ive cut them to fit the hugger. I would not recommend for onions as fridge smells of onion. They are not very flexiable , and sizes are totally wrong for the salad items I wanted them for instead of using cling film or plastic bag. The packaging they come in is not recyclable so don't feel I have saved the use of plastic as they are useless. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear the fruit & vegetable huggers haven't worked as well as you'd expected and we're glad we've been able to put things right for you.
"I love these huggers!" star star star star star So handy to keep half a lemon or onion.... or anything else.
"Not as useful as I hoped" star star star star_border star_border Having tried these covers for a few weeks I have found the lemon one the most successful one. The vegetables have to be the exact size for the seal to be tight enough to work efficiently. Unfortunately have to resort back to cling film.
"Excellence" star star star star star Having never seen this before it seemed a good idea and has proved to be just that. Then huggers are in constant use.
"Hit and miss" star star star star_border star_border Have used these for various vegetables, with varying degrees of success. Sometimes fit has been really good, e.g. on lemons, onions, sometimes not so good e.g. too big on end of courgette, when I forget to cut end off pepper rather than cutting lengthways! Will continue to use when I can as saves on using cling film.
