3 Snowflake Cutters

This is a fantastic product. Easy to use and very effective. I don't know why there are bad reviews, perhaps not being used correctly. Push into icing, marzipan etc give a sharp twist then pop out a perfect snowflake. Easy.

I bought this set of snowflake cutters with the idea of using them to cut decorative designs for the tops of my mince pies. The sweet pastry mix that I use can be hard to handle but I had no problem cutting and releasing the pastry. I used the middle and large sized cutters and the largest size was easiest to use. I also intend to use them with icing for the Christmas cake.

Very easy to use, simply press the cutter down onto rolled icing, twist to cut away from icing, push button and out pops a perfectly cut and detailed snowflake. Not sure why some have found it hard to use them as they are so simple to use, easy to clean and gives amazing results.

Dont be put off by some reviews. Just put a little vegetable oil on a saucer and dip the cutter into it. Shake of the excess and then you can cut half a dozen perfect snowflakes. You want the icing about 2-3mm thick. So glad i bought these for my 3yr olds Frozen birthday cake.

Like another reviewer I bought these for decorating a frozen cake for my niece and for decorating christmas cakes. I found them easy to use - just have to make sure the icing is thick enough for the top of the flake to be embossed with the design. Didn't have any problem popping the flakes out either. I must admit I have gotten a second use out of these which is keeping my 2 year old nephew occupied when he visits so I'll be buying a second set for him...he has great fun cutting out play-doh snow flakes.
