This pin has less definition than other Lakeland patterned pins I have purchased. However, for embossing sugar paste to decorate a cake board and sugar paste toppers for cup cakes, where more pressure can be used it just about works.

This rolling pin did not work on the rolled icing of my Christmas cake, leaving only an undefined smudgy imprint. Very disappointing.

I have just used this for the first time and the finished effect is nothing like the imagines shown in the picture. The pattern is hardly visible so a complete waste of money.

Extremely disappointed with this, only a slight imprint on the icing came out which eventually disappeared! If I still had the packaging and invoice I would return the item as not fit for purpose.

Like other reviewers, I found that the imprint was far too light and you couldn't really get visible results without going over it several times, which meant the pattern was uneven. A shame, it could have worked really well!
