"Liz Bailey"

I have never been so disappointed in anything previously purchased from Lakeland than I am with this product. I am really surprised that these are still on sale, considering the number of negative reviews. Wish I had read them before buying! Even with very cold cookie dough these cutters simply do not work. My grandson was very disappointed that we couldn't make snowflake biscuits this afternoon - good job I had alternative cutters in the kitchen drawer.

We're sorry these didn't work well for you.

"Love These"

Surprised to see so many negative reviews for these cutters & that so many have gone rusty. I've had my cutters for 3 yrs & they come out every Christmas to make my hand decorated Gingerbread Snowflakes. They're really sturdy cutters & yes you need a bit of patience using them, I find dipping the cutter in a little flour before cutting the dough helps & I use a small paint brush to push out the "spare dough" before gently tapping out the snowflake. Cutting the fondant icing to top them with again I dip the cutter in a little icing sugar first. I wash them & then dry immediately.

"Very Disappointed"

I made a special trip to my local Lakeland to buy these for a clay craft project. I really wish I had checked the reviews first as not only did the cutters rust after first use, they ruined the large white pack of Fimo clay I had used to make tree decorations. Very disappointed to see that these issues go back years ! I didn't however have a problem releasing the clay from the cutters as I bought some sugar paste tools to use with them

We're sorry the cutters rusted. We sell plastic cutters which might be more suitable.

"Disappointed"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

I bought these so my grandchildren would be able to make what I thought would be amazing Christmas biscuits. How wrong I was! It was impossible to get the dough out of the cutter. Is there a special trick to getting them out whole? If so, why are there not any instructions included with them? Or a recipe for a dough that helps?

support_agent A note from the team

Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry to hear of your disappointment and we'll be in touch to help. The best tip is to make sure the dough is well chilled before trying to cut

"Went rusty"

These look beautiful but I used one and found it almost impossible to get the dough out. As I was in a rush I left it and used other cutters. The one I used went rusty! Never used them again.

We're sorry the cutter went rusty and trust you've been able to find a suitable alternative - following our offer of help.
