Baked Taco Rack

We bought two of these and are delighted with them. If you take small tortillas or tacos, spray very lightly with spray oil substitute ( I spray one side and then rub against another taco.....so really using Minimal oil. Put in the oven for about 8 minutes at 180 ...you get a nice crispy "pocket" for fillings. My family love them. If I was being picky, I'd suggest Lakeland still sell these but with a narrower width of design...so the pockets hold less. I say this as when they are crispy...the wider they are, the harder they are to bite :)

We eat lots of tacos and this is ideal for baking the hard shell ones to keep them open as they tend to collapse if not supported when heated. Now there is a good opening and plenty of space to stuff a taco really well! All the fat drains away from the shell leaving them baked to crispy perfection. Easy to clean up, my only suggestion is that it could have been smaller or designed to accommodate more shells in the same space, as four at a time is time consuming to bake when you want eight or twelve shells. Otherwise it's brilliant for lovers of hard shell Tex Mex tacos.
