7 Pre-Set Functions
With 7 pre-set options, the Sage Smart Fryer adjusts the time and temperature to suit what you’re cooking. By simply selecting the food you are cooking, and whether it is fresh or frozen, the fryer knows when to deliver certain temperatures and how long to maintain them for. The Smart Fryer even over-heats the oil, so when your cold food is put in, the oil only goes back down to the perfect temperature for cooking. The Fryer then beeps to let you know you’re your food it done. Whether it is chips, calamari, fish, doughnuts or chicken nuggets, it’s never been easier to get that lovely, crunchy fried texture. There is even an option for twice-frying your chips, for that extra crunch. If you don’t want to use one of the pre-set functions, there is a custom option which gives you complete control over the time and oil temperature.
Cool Zone Technology
Sage have developed Cool Zone technology, which ensures minimal oil is wasted. All debris falls into cooler oil which prevents excessive burning and extends the life of your oil.
The fryer also features thick double walled exterior to ensure oil retains heat more efficiently, and cool touch handles. The container can hold up to 4L of oil and cook up to 1.2kg of food. The lid contains a glass viewing pane, letting you check how your food is doing without removing the lid and letting the heat escape.
Easy Cleaning
The Smart Fryer all comes apart for cleaning, and all parts except the element are dishwasher safe. There is a guide included, with recommended temperatures and times. It has never been easier to get restaurant quality fish and chips in your own kitchen.
