Everyone loves a toastie, but if you get your slice from a large loaf of bread, they don’t always fit inside toasting bags. Well that’s not a problem for the Toastamesh Sandwich Toasting Strips, which will fit your toasted sandwiches whatever the thickness of bread.

Wrap around your sandwich before popping it in your toaster – the open mesh structure allows heat and air to circulate for a perfectly cooked sandwich with golden, crisp toast. The narrow mesh catches crumbs and even melted cheese and, because you can open them, you can get more filling in and they’re really easy to clean.

Each is reusable 500 times.

I got this so I could use it in toasters when I am on holiday to protect gluten free bread from crumbs in the toaster. This lets the bread toast, not just get warm as ordinary toaster bags do. I am getting more!

I came onto the website to see what I was doing wrong with this product as it burns the bread but the filling stays cold. However, by reading the rest of the reviews this seems to be a common problem. Maybe I should have read the reviews before buying, but I have always found Lakeland products to be excellent so was confident to buy

"Dissapointed with Toastamesh"

Purchased the "Toastamesh" to replace my usual Lakeland toastabags which I always use, I have to say that I am very dissapointed with the way the filling is when supposedly cooked , the cheese was the same as it was when placed in toaster solid and not melted or soft, will have to revert back to the bags.
