Microwave Cookware Stain Proof - Red Pasta Cooker

I was a little doubtful before I tried it. I'd attempted to cook rice and pasta before in a microwave and had ended up with a hugely messy microwave interior. This little gadget cooks all sorts of pasta wonderfully. It's so much easier, too. Self-draining, no need to haul out a metal pot and colander or strainer. I wouldn't be without it now. One caution, though - check the interior size of your microwave. This thing fits well in mine, and rotates easily. But some microwaves are smaller inside and it might not work so well.

I like the way the pasta cooks without the need for me to check it is not boiling over, or that it is simmering just right. The box fits OK in my microwave but think folk need to check measurements to ensure it will fit their appliance. Have no hesitation in recommending this item

What a fantastic addition to my kitchen ware. I now cook pasta far more frequently as it makes it so easy to do spaghetti and lasagna as well as pasta salads without any trouble at all. I love that you can do other things whilst the pasta is cooking then just strain the water off so easily once cooked and your kitchen isn't full of steam!

I am disabled: I have difficulty lifting heavy pans and drop things a lot. This is brilliant: no need to boil a kettle & no heavy pans of boiling water. Also good for single portions. It has a handy portion measure and cold water level indicator. I cook the pasta (uncovered) for 14 minutes full power ( less for al dente, longer for softer). Then replace the lid and use it to drain the pasta. So clever, so simple, so useful!

I use this for making gluten free pasta. The type of pasta I use doesn't need pre-heated water. As someone who's unable to use pans due to disability this is a much safer product to use.
