From sauté pan to coq au vin, stir-fries to home-cooked pies, this Essential Cuisine Chicken Stock Mix is sure to be your new best friend in the kitchen. A rich, carefully created stock powder that tastes as if you’ve slaved for hours over the hob to make your own from scratch, it can also be used as a flavour enhancer – a very small amount adds the perfect hit of delicious flavour to any dish.
This powdered stock mix will add oomph to your cooking – just a sprinkle will add immense depth of flavour to any dish. Convenient and oh-so-easy to use, every one of the range works brilliantly as a flavour booster for pasta dishes, risotto, sauces and barbecue marinades as well as classic soups and stews.
This whole tub will make 6-8 litres of delicious chicken stock – simply add a heaped teaspoon (8g) of the powder to 500ml of boiling water to create a rich, tasty instant stock. Alternatively, throw some in to your stocks, soups or any other recipes to enhance the taste.

Love this product (have the Beef too). So glad Lakeland made it available to us lesser mortals - it certainly adds a wonderful flavour to your dishes. I use this within chicken casseroles, stews, gravy, steaming veg and soups to name but a few. Back to buy some more today.
This stock is far better than any other I've ever found - even the fresh liquid stocks from the supermarkets. I use it all the time now as it's fantastic in soups and casseroles. It's never caked with me as I push the lid fully down on the pot! Needless to say I'm shopping for more today - any chance of some bigger pots?
I have been using this stock for years and delighted to see that it has won 2 stars with Great Taste Awards - well deserved! the chicken stock is full of flavour (even better than home made) and so easy to use, I either sprinkle in the fine powder to my dishes or make a liquid stock when cooking risottos. My stock has never gone hard as I always push the lid down fully. I just wish they made larger pots as I keep running out! I give it five stars without any doubt
I am so pleased I tried this chicken stock. When I first saw it I thought it was a little expensive, but having read the label and saw how much stock it made I was sold on it. I has a wonderful flavour and not at all greasy, I will be back for more.
I bought two post of this excellent product. Good flavour also less salt than in normal stock products. when I need more I will definitely buy some The chicken stock is very versatile because it can be used with almost any meat
