Anyone that is using this product to make cake pops. You need to know that the melts are a very thick. YOU MUST mix this with some oil (Vegetable). Just add a little bit at a time to get a runny consistency. Once mixed, I can make about 20 round cake pops, that are covered twice. Hope this helps
I needed bright white chocolate for my project instead of the creamy coloured chocolate more commonly found. This is the brightest whitest chocolate I could find. It melts really nicely and quickly in a microwave and spreads well. It seems thicker than UK chocolate but that worked in my favour. It has a sweeter taste to UK white chocolate, as it is an American brand and contains vanilla flavouring, but still did the job very nicely. One bag goes a long way. I will be using this brand in the future when I need more coloured chocolate.
I bought these to use with a Star Wars mould to make decorations for some cupcakes. I wanted some pure white chocolate to go with the black "Dark Side". The instructions make it sound like they melt quickly but they take a while and don't seem to go runny as you would expect chocolate to. As others have suggested, adding a little vegetable oil makes it more usable and free flowing. Sets at room temperature but can also go in the fridge. Pleased with the results once they set.
Hard to place the taste/ texture aside from vanilla. Very sweet but nice. kids loved it. Easy to melt in 30 second increments on defrost, added oil until runny enough to dip small hemispheres & cake pops. Inclined to melt under fingers when I was dipping the other side of my baubles a different colour, so best if you don't have to touch it.
bought one of each colour to make pop cakes, followed instructions and the chocolate melted but far to thick to put on pop cakes, my husband then tried and the same thing happened with him, so I called my daughter in law and she came over and tried and still the same, I will have to go to shop in morning and buy chocolate bars, so I can decorate the pop cakes, I have been making these for over 3 years now and never had a problem with chocolate, wilton candy melts are a complete waste of money, will never buy them again,I rated this 1 star and that is because it does taste nice, disappointed,
