I find these tins the best storage for cakes etc. for three reasons 1) no inside edges ... no sticky crumbs! 2)can see what I have saved,. Important as I make a variety of things and store in a cool room.3)and of course the quality of the material
I can't tell you how sad I am that these tins are discontinued. I bought them a couple of years ago, use them all the time - and given them as gifts several times. I often take folk cakes or bakes using the lid as a serving platter and the base as a cover, and get constant compliments when I lift the 'top'. They're airtight, come out the dishwasher looking new, much nicer than plastic, easier to use and more stylish. The top of my large tin has been lost so I came looking to buy a new set. Please PLEASE find a new supplier and get them back!
