Lakeland Pickle Fork & Spoon

This pickle fork and spoon set are great for getting all types of pickled produce out of jars and to stop them slipping about evasively as they have a tendency to do. The fact that they are made of easily cleaned stainless steel was the clincher for me. The thinness and lengths ( 19cm each ) of the fork and spoon allows them to delve into the deepest of shop-bought jars of pickles. The little jar-lip hooks are quite a usefully innovative addition to the design. I've had other pickle fork designs before but this is the best with no silly spring loaded gimmicks and the like to go wrong.

I had something like this in the 1970's in plastic. Great to see it back and updated in steel with a very useful hook. The spoon is too big for the smaller jars though, it wouldn't fit into the baby gherkin or the baby pickled onion jars.
