Made from solid polycarbonate, this mould is solidly built and designed to last many chocolate making days to come. The precise details help you get that professional-looking artisan finish. Tempering Chocolate

To ensure your chocolatey treats have that professional-looking sheen, you will need to temper your chocolate. This stops the cocoa fat from separating, preventing that dull grey finish and meaning the chocolate shrinks slightly when set for an easy release from the mould. "Great product"

This product is great. I will for sure buy the others in the range. Just had to tap the mould and they easily came out.

"Very quick response"

I had difficulty with this at first but after writing a review that I was unhappy. Lakeland responded quickly. It helped me a lot but an extra 15 minutes in the fridge didn't work for me. It needed to be left in over night and it works better if you use the plastic end of a spoon to tap them out. So I am changing my review of this product.

Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry you're unable to get the finished chocolates out of the mould. Handy Tips: ensure that the mould is polished to a high shine before use.Use a microfibre cloth or similar.Place the mould in the fridge for 15 minutes after use. This will help the chocolates shrink and release from the mould.We'll be in touch shortly.

"smaller than expected"

Being a chocolatier I use moulds a lot, and this one came smaller than expected. It says it's Polycarbonate, but looks and feels more like acrylic, and gives the impression it could scratch easily. I used it today, and my reliefs came out easily, clean and shiny, which is what I expected, but is it worth £9.99 like the other better Polycarbonate moulds, not really.
