Renshaw Ready-to-Use Royal Icing 5 "Perfect" Mrs Pearce 20 November 2018 This is one of those guilty secrets that you don't want to own up to but you cringe a little every time someone compliments you on your icing. The texture is lovely to work with - too stiff to pipe, straight from the tub - but perfect for smoothing with a hot palette knife. I last used it to not only cover a cake but to then pipe white-on-white scroll work with it (very slightly) watered down, over the top. It does take a few days to dry, however. Not sure if this is longer than home made royal icing as I *cough* have never made it myself. Don't intend to either!!
