"Brilliant for veggies!"

star star star star star

No idea how it works for eggs, but I use it every day for microwaving a single portion of veg. Perfect size and shape, and you can drain the water out one side before serving from the other.

"Works perfectly"

These take some getting used to but once solved are brilliant. First trick is to put hot or boiling water into the pot just before microwaving rather than cold. Then 30 to 50 seconds should be enough based on size of Egg (30 Medium, 50 Large). I also use the microwave plate from Lakeland to stand the pots on to make them easier to take in and out. So pop pot onto plate, crack egg into pot, pour a little water from a kettle recently boiled, close lid, pop into microwave 40 secs, take out hold and drain, open, loosen with knife if necessary, slip onto warm buttered toast - Yum yum.

"PERFECT POACHED EGG"

star star star star star

At my third attempt I produced a perfect poached egg. I didn't grease the poacher or prick the yolk, but well covered the egg with water which was just off the boil, and cooked it for 20 seconds at 800W. Result - a runny yolk and just firm white, exactly the way I like my poached eggs. I used a spoon to get the egg out of the poacher, and it hadn't stuck at all.

"Foolproof, a doddle to use, and great results."

I love poached eggs but can never be bothered with the faff of boiling water, etc. I've just received this in a recent order and couldn't resist trying it out straight away. I was careful to read over the instructions on the back of the packaging and when for a 50 second zap (800w microwave). The perforated lid is brilliant, just be careful how you pick it up so that you don't pour out boiling water over your fingers. The poached egg was great, though as I prefer a runnier yoke I'll go for 40 seconds next time, and I can see it's going to get a lot of use! Highly recommended.

"At Last"

At last I've found a microwave poacher that works. I've tried most of the others and almost gave up. This one works well. Use warm water rather than cold, I butter the bottom and don't pierce the yolk
