Star Wars™ Heroes Cake Pan

The silicone pans are sturdy and well made and my mixture came out beautifully and all of them were a perfect shape but I was disappointed by the detail. It is quite shallow .I have other pans where it is possible to cover the cake with rolled icing and gently press onto the design . I cannot do that with these . I am going to try making a chocolate plaque using the moulds instead. These cake moulds are not cheap compared with others and I would have expected the manufacturer to have made a better job. The pans wash easily and mixture comes out well if you use a cake release product .

I have to agree and say these are not good moulds - they are deep are the silicone is good quality but the detailing is just not up to par - you cannot see it - and if you try different 'stronger' cake mixtures it just breaks off - ok for a cake mould but not a detail -
