Mary Berry with Lakeland 20cm Shallow Pushpan®

I decided to invest in two of these, they are fantastic, cakes, cheesecakes come out cleanly every time with no leakages.

I bought two of these pans about 6 months ago and so far have found them to be excellent, perfect cakes every time, no leaking, no sticking, the bottom seemed a little bit stiff at first but I now put a little bit of olive oil all the way around it and the base comes out really easily. I highly recommend. It says shallow pans but I bought them because they are a little deeper than a lot of shallow pans.

Like the other reviewer, I also decided to invest in two of these tins. The quality of the tins is superb, but unfortunately the silicone on one of the bases has begun to rip off. I have cut the silicone to attempt to prevent further ripping, but hope that the missing silicone will not be detrimental to the product.

I brought these back in August to replace my old tired tins. On the 1st use I was disappointed with the result I thought it was me so I persevered every week but still a poor result. I went and brought 2 other tins 1/2 the price and what a difference great results straight away. I don't know whats wrong with them but I could not recommend them.

I asked my daughter to replace my cake tins as she was in your Manchester store at the time. I couldn't believe the price but expected the resulting cakes to be an improvement on my old tins. Sadly although I have used the same recipe for years I have failed miserably to achieve anywhere near the same standard of sponge cake as that achieved with the old tins. After several failed cakes I am only too relieved to return to my old tins. Sorry Lakeland but you have let me down in this instance.
