Not just for chocolate mini eggs, our versatile Silicone Mini Egg Mould is great for turning out Easter-themed ice cubes, miniature jelly cake toppers and even dinky little bite-size bakes… However, we know most people will give into the call of the cocoa bean and use it to make home-made mini Easter eggs for egg hunts, Easter baskets and to pop into chick-themed edible nests.

Giving each mini egg incredible detail, this mould is made from super flexible silicone. Ideal for chocolate making, silicone has a number of properties which makes it great for chocolatiers. Amazingly non-stick, even the most delicate and complicated shapes drop out with ease and, being flexible, it’s always easy to pop out your creations. If you’re patient, you can even make chocolate egg shells to create dinky little chocolate box centres or dainty cream eggs.

Tempering Chocolate

To ensure your chocolatey treats have that professional-looking sheen and stay looking good for longer, you will need to temper your chocolate. This stops the cocoa fat from separating, preventing that dull grey ‘bloomed’ finish and meaning the chocolate shrinks slightly when set for an easy release from the mould.
