    Made from silicone, our Easter Egg Mould is freezer, microwave and oven safe – so you can easily flip this traditional springtime theme on its head and serve home-made frozen desserts, egg-shaped jellies or bake egg-shaped ‘cupcakes’ – you could even try making an egg-shaped, mallow-filled chocolate teacake!

    Giving each little egg incredible detail, this mould is made from super flexible silicone. Ideal for chocolate making, silicone has a number of properties which makes it great for chocolatiers. Amazingly non-stick, even the most delicate and complicated shapes drop out with ease and, being flexible, it’s always easy to pop out your creations.

    Tempering Chocolate

    To ensure your chocolatey treats have that professional-looking sheen and stay looking good for longer, you will need to temper your chocolate. This stops the cocoa fat from separating, preventing that dull grey ‘bloomed’ finish and meaning the chocolate shrinks slightly when set for an easy release from the mould.     "Perfect for creme eggs"

    I bought these moulds to make homemade creme eggs. They are very easy to use, although there were no instructions with the product. I cooled melted chocolate, spooned into the moulds and pushed up the sides with the back of the spoon. After 1hr in the fridge I applied a second coat for a thick chocolate shell. The shells easily came out of the mould without any breakages. I filled with fondant then sealed the halves with a little melted chocolate along the edges. They looked beautiful and professional:
