We know you like to make your own mince and know exactly where it’s come from, so this Manual Meat Mincer and Sausage Maker is here to help you turn raw steak or Sunday roast leftovers into delicious cottage pie, homemade burgers or lasagne.

It’s easy to use with a wide hopper and pusher to ensure nothing gets stuck – it even ploughs through fat. Just fill the hopper with your diced meat of choice, give the handle a turn and watch the mince fall into the included tray ready for cooking. You can even mince onions, garlic and other extras in with the meat for the best flavour throughout the whole batch. The included pusher to help any bits that may need a tad of extra help, and keeps your fingers safely outside of the hopper.

For added versatility, the mincer comes with fine and coarse stainless steel mincing blades, a sausage nozzle for making your own homemade bangers, and a handy tray to catch all the mince as you go. The pusher also acts as a lever to help secure the machine to your worktop with its suction base, keeping it firmly in place as you work.

For easy cleaning after use, the mincer comes apart and is simple to clean with a wipe in warm soapy water, leaving it ready to go for your next cooking session.

"Wonderful mincer"

Having inherited my mother’s mincer many years ago it got to the stage where it was unusable. I never expected to find another one of such a high standard. It’s strong. Durable and works well. Recommend it to all

This is a great little machine, not used the sausage making attachment as yet. As another reviewer said “ lightly dampen base of machine for better adhesion, we have granite work tops and stays in situ through out mincing fresh / cold meat. Easy to dismantle and wash.

"Disappointing"

Having been a 50s child, I bought this mincer to try and make Shepherd's Pie from the left-over lamb joint, just like my Mum used to do with her Spong mincer. Unlike some of the other reviews, I didn't have problems with the suction pad on my granite work-top, but the knob to set the suction pad is very stiff (a bit scary until you realise just how forceful you have to be). However, the result from the cooked lamb was awful! It just turned it to a sort of paste - a real waste of the remains of a lovely leg of lamb. I think the larger cutter disc is just too small.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry this meat mincer hasn’t worked as well as you’d expected and we’ve been in touch to help further. We’d suggest chopping the meat into thin pieces and making sure it’s cold before putting through the mincer. You could also try cooling the mincing blades before use.

"Too difficult to lockdown on counter"

I have had this mincer for a while but the system to lock it firmly on the counter top is far to hard to use. Without doing this the mincing system is not fixed and the mincer moves. I am going to buy a metal one which screws to the counter.

**this item was purchased over 3 years ago which is beyond our guarantee, so maybe it's got harder to use over time ** However the only issue we’ve heard with the locking mechanism before is that it doesn’t lock to any surface with a texture, so we would suggest trying it on a smooth surface in this case.

two things I think of: (1) dampen the base of the sausage maker for better adhesion (2) use a Glass Worktop Saver as a base
