These skins are very good if you follow the instructions and exercise patience when making your sausages. I made my first batch of sausages yesterday and had to learn through trial and error. Basically, have two people making them - one turning the handle on the sausage maker, the other guiding the skins. The key is not to overfill the skin because that's when they can split and it's difficult to put the twists into each batch. Also leave at least three inches to tie off the ends. Take your time and it's a breeze!
