Bought for daughter, she is delighted - carries well to her school for fund raising functions, her fellow students cant wait to see her creations. Cakes arrive in great condition, cupcakes fit in well and enough room for icing without being OTT.
Absolutely Wonderful Fantastic for carrying cupcakes & looks good too
Fantastic cupcake container. Carried it to town 15 minutes away from home with 24 cupcakes in, very sturdy. I'm ordering 2 more, well done to whoever created this.
I read the reviews on the Carousel Cupcake Caddy & was a little dubious about purchasing it after reading that the cupcake cases did not fit the holders & that the clearance for icing/decoration was inadequate but decided to risk it anyway. I use standard cupcake cases from a supermarket & have found they sit in the holders just fine. There is a little more than an inch (2.5cms) clearance between the top of the cupcake case when sitting in the holder & the next layer of the carousel so, unless you are going for a very elaborate layer of icing, this will definitely do the job.
I bought three of these caddies last November in Germany. Dissapointed that there was not enough space for the frosting to go on top of the cupcake as shown in the photo. I had to frost 72 cupcakes at the event instead.
