A freshly baked individual roll is lovely, but we can’t deny it – we’d rather tear and share with this adorable, unglazed terracotta mould from Mason Cash. Place balls of dough in the mould and as they prove, they’ll rise and expand, joining together as they bake to create a beautiful flower-shaped loaf – just tear a piece off and pass it on. I've made two lots of bread in this and both have come out beautifully. First time I made ordinary bread and just buttered the dish, next time I made sourdough bread and just dusted the bottom with a bit of semolina and it just came out of the mould so easily.
Follow the instructions (with your favourite recipe if you prefer), don't omit the buttering and the result will be perfect. Wow factor from every angle :)
