    It’s so easy to turn natural yogurt into soft, spreadable cheese. Spoon your yogurt into the patented mesh inner section, pop the lid on, refrigerate for two hours while the whey drains and you’ll have home-made yogurt cheese. It works equally well with shop-bought or home-made yogurt, even low fat varieties, and the longer you chill it, the better the texture gets. We’ve topped cheesecakes, mini carrot cakes and made herby spreads, dips and dressings, and can’t wait to hear what you do with yours!

    "Great item!"

    I highly recommend this item, yes it is quite small but it's big enough to take around 750-800g of yogurt, which will produce around 375-400g of yoghurt cheese (labneh). Depending on how long you drain your yoghurt will determine the thickness you end up with. A couple of hours gives you Greek yoghurt or around 24 hours you get labneh, this is a thick almost cream cheese consistency and is delicious! A great item, very easy to clean, just pop it in the dishwasher. I'd recommend this to all yoghurt makers out there . If you've never made your own yoghurt give it a go, it's very easy!

    "A really useful kitchen 'gadget'"

    I have had one of these for a few years now and I use it all of the time. The best results I have had have been with Greek or Turkish natural yoghurt. Add 500g of yoghurt,1 teaspoon of salt and freshly ground black pepper. The longer it stays in the box the thicker the resulting cheese is. I would say 24 hours was the least time I would leave it for. In our house we eat it spread onto toasted sourdough and topped with chopped tomatoes - delicious! I always serve it with a Mediterranean platter of meats, mozzarella and roasted vegetables. It's also nice drizzled with sweet chilli sauce.
