If like me finds piping on cakes / biscuits hard work and the results looks terrible these pens are great. All you have to do is write like a pen so hands do not shake and the results look like a trained Baker has done it . What a result.
Not used this set yet, but I expect that they will be as good as the first set .
Not a very fine tip but it added a lovely splash of colour.

I bought these pens for intricate drawing on my grandson's birthday cake.The illustration on the box showed very fine lines on the "Barbapapa" figure on the outside of the box and on a kitten on the inside so I thought they would be ideal. Unfortunately ,even though the pens appear to taper to a fine point,only thick lines and infilling are possible.The tip splays out on use and delivers a messy, indistinct line such as seen on the Russian Doll illustration inside the box-though actually not even as good as that. Very unusual for Lakeland to let me down.
Thanks for placing your review.The buyer has commented: The pens are capable of a fine line, we found it easier on a smooth surface, so icing ideal, for use on a biscuit, it helps to use a really light touch with just the tip of the pen. Then applying more pressure to achieve a fuller/heavier line....We'll be in touch shortly to help.
