Foods such as sauces that need to be cooked directly on the heat are often the hardest to get right, liable to burn, stick or overheat. This Cast Aluminium Sauce Pot has been designed specifically for the job, helping you get perfect results every time.
Being narrow with deep sides, it helps you easily create lump-free sauces with no splashes or splatters. It’s perfect for the likes of cheese sauce, custard or gravy, heating milk or melting chocolate, as, being made from cast aluminium, it conducts heat quickly and evenly.
With an incredibly non-stick finish, sauces and mixtures will not stick to the sides of the pot, and it is also really easy to clean after use.
Oven safe up to 180°C and suitable for all hobs (except induction).

I am a very big fan of cast aluminium (and have both the casseroles in this range which I use every day). This little pot is wonderful - goes from stove top to table and looks very elegant! Just the right size for gravy for 6 people - no more having to take a clumsy glass jug to the table! Excellent.
unfortunately only one review written and I always read comments before making a decision on whether to buy or not. I am so pleased I decided to go ahead. This is my first cast aluminium item and was concerned that it might be too heavy, but its fine. Delivered yesterday and i made cheese sauce. This is a great non stick sauce pot, really like the handle, and looks attractive on the table too. I have stored in my easy access cupboard as I am sure it will be used most days!
I have two of these - one for my home kitchen and one for my caravan. I wouldn't want to be without them, they're amazing. And now I'm ordering a third. I don't find that the handle gets hot - not at all but then again, you wouldn't have the heat turned up high beneath a sauce in any event. Perfect for making large quantities of a gravy, cheese sauce or any sweet sauce and the depth of the pot means that sauces can be whipped whilst cooking and don't splash or spill over the top. Wonderful piece of kitchen equipment.
Even using glove, can't hold handle as heat from gas jets reaches up side - turning down heat doesn't make a difference. Shame, because, otherwise appears good quality.
