Fairy Tale Village Mould

I bought these moulds in the summer and managed to retrain myself from making them until last week. I made 8 little chocolate houses, so easy to do. Iced with royal icing to look like snow, on a small iced board, in gift bags with pretty ribbons, look amazing. The few I've already given out have had great reactions, varying from "Never going to eat it, too pretty" to someone getting out of the bag and eating it right away. Lakeland not stocking next year, seriously, grab yourself a set before they all go and have great fun playing with them in time for next Christmas. Great quality, as always.

I absolutely love these moulds, the detail on them is really good, the little boy and girl are a little fiddly to get out but come out easily enough once loosened, I find lightly pulling the mould away from the sides help, I now can't wait to make a whole gingerbread village to give as Christmas gifts, I would definitely recommend these moulds :)

I absolutely love this mould. Have had great fun making little chocolate houses. Hardly any breakages either. Very easy to use and pieces come out easily.

I am now on my 4th batch of little gingerbread houses and really pleased with the results. A few tips so you avoid my mistakes. Lightly spray moulds with oil, that way the parts pop out easily once cooked. Don't fill the sections to the top with mixture, I did the first time and ended up with very fat sections after cooking and a less attractive little house. If using a fan oven cook no higher that 155 - 160 degrees C for a maximum of 20 minutes. Happy house building !

Absolutely brilliant! Easy to use, lovely recipe on the back, and easier to assemble than a kit. Even better that the children can each decorate (and eat) their own, so no fighting!!
