"Brilliant GL Diet Birthday Present!"

star star star star star

This review is for an older version of this product

I asked for this as a birthday present and it's great for a whole load of reasons. First - the loaves are a lovely portion size. Second - you can bake more than one kind of cake at the same time! Third - I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and am following a low GL diet for which the cake recipes make low quantities - this loaf tin is great - I can make two different recipes, bake in one go and then freeze most of the baking for later use. Fourth - it washes up really easily because of the non stick (yes I forgot to grease the tins first time and they still came out intact!)

"Love it"

Used this 5 times over the weekend to make fruit, lemon, coffee cakes and small loaves. didn't stick, would love it if lakeland could produce some little paper cases/liners for this and the mini round one, would just finish off the presentation

"Great Loose Bottoms"

star star star star star

I bought this tin to make individual cakes for packed lunches. Really pleased with it, and loving the loose bottoms and straight sides as it is so easy to remove even sticking cakes with little or no damage. Great design and great idea.

"Mini loaf tin"

I bought this tin and so far have used it on five occasions making lemon drizzle cakes, fruit loaves and chocolate cakes. Fantastic every time. I did base line the sections for the fruit cake. Would thoroughly recommend it and easy to clean.

"mini loaves"

I make bread by using my breadmaker to make the dough and then transferring it to a loaf tin, letting it prove again and baking. I now make mini loaves the same way baking for 20 minutes on gas 6. They are lovely and just the right size. Just remember to grease the tins with melted butter or marg - not oil as this runs out into the oven.
