"Could have been so much better"

I had high hopes for this gadget when I ordered it but am greatly disappointed with it. Although it does warm the food placed in it and warms it very well, it could have been so much better if the warming plate had been removable for cleaning. For it to remain fixed in the base is very poor design. Washing is difficult if the item heated has sauce/gravy etc and to be honest, this will be relegated to my "seemed like a good idea" cupboard and eventually passed on or thrown out.
