Dalek and Sontaran Cookie Cutters

Fabulous cookie cutters! used Katrinas recipe from the smiley cookie cutters review, made loads!! Bought the whole range for my little Doctor Who fan, if your dough is a bit sticky make sure you flour it after you have rolled it out as it tends to stick in the intricate details of the cutters but is easily cleaned out afterwards with the help of a washing up brush. another great product Lakeland!!

The designs are all very detailed, and make very good looking biscuits. They can be pressed out really easily and conveniently, however sometimes the dough needs to be floured to prevent sticking, especially with the Dalek cutter. The Sontaran design works best by far out of the whole set. My only criticism is that sometimes it is difficult to clean between the detail in the cutter if the dough sticks. Overall a great buy.

Bought this set for as my oldest is Doctor Who mad. We tried them out that weekend and Wow! They work really well; the plunger ensures that the cookie is ejected properly and as long as you don't roll the dough too thin, the imprint works well too...even after baking. Have since bought all the other cutters in the range, baked the cookies and impressed all my friends on FaceBook with photos!. Well done Lakeland...another great product

This product is great and works really well. The Sontaran is the best one as it produces the best effect after cooking. My children think they are great and have been asking to eat the Sontaran biscuits all day (even the 3 year old). The only downside to them is that fact that the Dalek cutter doesn't produce the eye indentation as shown on the outside of the cutter.
