These versatile mats can be used for lining baking trays or rolling out dough, and can even help define a clean working area for little cooks.

I find these mats so useful, brilliant for lots of things. I use them for lining the tray of fruit for freezing (e.g. bananas), so they don't stick. Lining a baking tray when cooking biscuits. Even bought one to cut up for coasters for my drink while I'm in the bath - stops it "clinking" on the sink and doesn't slip on the slight slope!
I liked this so much I have ordered another. They are perfect for lining a baking tray to prevent sticking and excessive washing. They are also good for small scale pastry cooking or rolling items in flour etc. I intend to use for cooking with my granddaughter. I like the fact that they are of smaller size as I don't often cook for more than 2 or 3 people.
These are ok to line a baking sheet but too small for much else such as rolling pastry or cookies. Far too small for kids if you are trying to contain the mess they sometimes make!
This range is linked to the cbeebies television programme for preschool and early primary aged children. The dimensions of the mat are 36 x 27cm (14" x 10¾").
