With the Tea Maker from Sage getting the most out of tea leaves has never been easier. If you’re very particular about how you like your tea then the Sage Tea Maker Kettle is the machine for you. Different teas need to be brewed at different temperatures to get the best flavour from them – something Sage kept in mind when developing this intelligent machine.

Different Temperatures for Different Teas

The Tea Maker from Sage includes pre-set functions to ensure water is boiled to the optimum temperature for different teas, whether its oolong, green, white, herbal or black. Green tea, for example, brews best at 80C, while 100C is optimum for black tea.

They also need to steep for different times. With its automatically lowering basket, the Tea Maker ensures tea leaves are in the water just long enough to infuse the water with their flavour and deliver the perfect, refreshing taste.

The best bit is that this is all done automatically. Just fill the basket with your tea leaves, select your programme and press the ‘Tea’ button. The Tea Maker will boil water to the appropriate temperature, lower your tea leaves and, when the tea has steeped, raise the basket back up. Simple.

Smart Features

The Integrated auto-start function means there will always be a fresh pot of tea waiting for you when you get up in the morning or when you get home from a long day at the office.

If you can see yourself coming back for more tea soon, the ‘Keep Warm’ function keeps tea hot for 60 minutes after the brew. And with its large 1.5L capacity, you can brew up to 5 cups of tea on a single programme, so you don’t have to keep re-boiling the kettle.

Customisable

Sage’s the Tea Maker includes a custom feature, giving you complete control over temperature and time settings, if, for example, you like your tea particularly strong. It also has a boil button, for if you just want to boil water without tea leaves. The basket easily snaps out of the jug, too, so there is no risk of tea getting in your water.

There is also a clear, easy-to-read LCD screen which tells you how long your tea has left, as well as being made from highly-durable German Schott glass, it is finished in stylish stainless steel, meaning it brings a modern vibe to your kitchen worktop.
