The Smart Scoop Gelato and Ice Cream Maker from Sage uses cleverly integrated smart functions to deliver perfect delicious ice-cream, soft frozen-yogurt, or soothing sorbet, every time. What’s more, it does it automatically, eliminating the need to stand and watch eagle-eyed.

Intelligent Churning

Because of the different amounts of dairy in ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet, mixtures become ready at different points in the churning process. Ice cream, for example, has a large amount of dairy which retains air, making the mixture thicker and more difficult to churn. Sorbet, on the other hand, has no dairy and retains little air, remaining easier to churn during the freezing process.

The Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker automatically senses the thickness of the mixture, adjusting the power to ensure a consistent churn, whatever you’re making. By knowing when your mixture is done, the Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker also automatically knows when to stop churning, ensuring your ice cream, frozen yogurt, gelato or sorbet turns out perfect every time.

Easy To Use

As with all of Sage's products, the Sage the Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker is easy to use.

It has 4 integrated functions for sorbet, frozen yogurt, gelato and ice cream, as well as 12 hardness settings, to make sure your frozen treats are just how you like them with minimum effort. You can also use the manual function for ultimate control.

Add Extra Treats

If you want to add extras to your ice cream, such as fresh fruit or chocolate chips, the machine will flash and let you know exactly when to put them in. It also has a pre-cool function, which lowers the temperature of your machine to between -5°C and -10°C, to give your ice cream or sorbet a head start.

With a nostalgic nod to childhood memories, the Sage the Smart Scoop will either beep or play an ice cream van tune to let you know when your frozen treat is done. If you’re not quite ready, it has a built-in ‘keep cool’ function keeps everything at serving temperature for up to 3 hours, meaning your ice cream isn’t going to melt if you don’t eat it straight away. It’s 1L bowl means there will always be plenty to go around.

Sage have also included a spatula for scraping the bowl clean and a bottle brush for cleaning the paddle, so the machine is as easy to clean as it is to use.
