"A really sturdy bit of kit!" star star star star star I was slightly hesitant spending such a lot on a food processor, especially since my 20 year old Magimix machine still worked reasonably well, but I am really pleased with this purchase. We like to make meals in batches so we have "ready meals" in the freezer - I think I used most of the attachments yesterday, with great success. I like to have spiralized carrot instead of spaghetti, and the julienne cutter did it in about a second! The bowl seems so much tougher than my previous machine, and I love the way it is sealed so there is no juice escaping down the spindle. Thanks Lakeland :-)
"Better than brilliant." star star star star star You can’t deny this is a pricey piece of kitchen equipment but well worth the investment. I have now had mine a couple of months and have no regrets it certainly makes preparation soo much quicker. Just one word of warning take great care with the blades as they are extremely sharp and can cut through you finger without you realising as I found out when drying them. I would definitely give this a 5 star plus rating.
"Excellent Product" star star star star star_border This replaced a very old and small food processor and I am pleased to find it is as robust as it looks. It is quite heavy so needs to be situated where it is easy to use. I have used it for preparation of a few meals and baking and it has performed as required for those. However, I was unable to grind linseed which I mill into flour as an ingredient in bread making; for this I still need to use a bullet blender. I was also disappointed to find there was no properly printed full instruction book or recipe book accompanying the food processor.
"Excellent" star star star star star We spent weeks agonising whether to buy this Sage or the Magimix, to replace a cheaper Kenwood. As having a cupboardful of random attachments was a major annoyance with the Kenwood, we chose the Sage with it's attachment pod. Being able to store all the attachments in this pod elevates this processor to Excellent. Our only query is the Sage instructions say not to put ice in it (which we regularly did with the Kenwood). Doesn't say this anywhere in the spec as far as we can see. Not a major problem, but just wonder, for future reference, whether Magimix takes ice?
"Sage food processor" star star star star star I absolutely love this machine. I have used it a few times now and the capabilities are limitless. It was a joy to use and saves so much time in the kitchen and I even think it makes the food I prepared taste better. Worth the money as this machine will probably last a lifetime.
