I bought this with the intention of using it as a soup ladle. Its a perfect inbetween design which can comfortably scoop up rice/pasta and casserole and scoop up a helping of soup. Comes out of the dishwasher in great condition and glad to say I have not experienced any staining or fraying of any kind.
We bought a set of these only a few weeks ago to use in our newly decorated kitchen, They are absolutely rubbish we thought they would last since the spec stated that they are heat resistant up to 210 degrees. The nylon part is heat resistant but the coloured handle isnt and we have already have one spoon ruined since it can't be used in a deep pan as the handle simply sticks and burns on it! Also they are not resistant to staining from spices used in curries particularly turmeric two of my spoons now have a yellow stain on them, and the nylon is not very resistant to fraying either. RUBBISH
