For a quick blitz, only a hand blender will do and our rechargeable, single-speed one is great for keeping close to hand, ready to whirr into action as soon as it’s needed. Giving up to 20 minutes of blending, its hardened stainless steel blade handles all manner of tasks from purées and sauces to soups and shakes.
The handle and mixing foot slot separately into the charging/storage stand and the 500ml, graduated blending beaker fits neatly over the top of the handle, making the whole set really compact and easy to store on your worktop. To avoid the annoyance of starting to blend on empty, an LED indicator shows whether the battery is low, medium or fully charged… and what a bonus to have no cord to contend with!

Great idea to have no cord BUT it is very difficult to use unless you have hand strength of a weight lifter! The control really hard to use. Out of the question if you have arthritic hands or wrists, don't buy, I'm sorry I did.

Hi, I have always been pleased with Lakeland products but just cannot use this blender. It is very heavy, I cannot operate the controls very easily - have a bit of arthritis in my hands and find them awkward and finally I cannot separate the two sections for washing after use. I have another blender which I love but thought the cordless wand would be more useful - not having to keep plugging and unplugging other appliances. I am so disappointed!

Purchased 19 August 2015 from Edinburgh store. Remarked that there was quite a reduction and drawn to the fact that it was cordless.Very heavy to use and quite cumbersome. Control button needs quite a bit of pressure. Annoying having to return as store is a bit out of the way.

I bought this item on 9th August, there were no reviews for it at that time, if there had been I would not have done. Heavy & awkward to use & I find it almost impossible to keep the switch on when in use as I have slight arthritis in my thumb joints. It does not get the amount of use I had planned. I wondered why it had been reduced, I soon found out!! One plus it is neat & handy to store.
