Perfect grilling results are easy with Tefal’s new OptiGrill. Designed with six dedicated cooking programmes – burger, sausage, bacon, chicken, red meat and fish – an automated sensor measures the thickness of your food to ensure it’s fully cooked. But best of all is an LED cooking level indicator which changes colour as your meat cooks – yellow for rare to orange for medium and red for well done, so it’s just the ticket for steaks.
Excess fat drains off the angled plate into the extra-large drip tray for healthier grilling, and the die-cast aluminium plates are removable and dishwasher safe.

This product is fantastic used several times and the food has turned out excellent. Does what it says cooks my husbands steak rare and mine well done without burning. Well done yet again Tefal.
Good at judging how the meat is cooked and the results (even well done) are succulent. One of the things I like best is that the meat doesn't spit and spray fat over the worktops. I have had contact grills in the past and have always found it necessary to turn items half way to ensure even cooking - not with this grill. Cleaning is simple. In all a joy to use.
What a super grill, sausages cooked perfectly as did bacon and boneless chops. So easy to clean with removable plates. An asset in the kitchen.
Its just great! Makes a nice crust on meats with all the juicy goodness inside. Its also FAST!. 2cm rib-eye takes about 3 min for medium. Very nice product. Everyone that sees what it does wants one for themselves :P

Bought this grill after returning the lakeland version. It was more expensive but well worth the extra. The plates are easy to clean, remove and refit. It cooks a variety of meats to personal choice and perfection . It feels sturdy and well built. It has a brushed steel finish which a,ways looks clean. I would highly recommend this grill
