All the fun of the fair just came to town! Looking fabulous and sure to draw a chorus of ‘coos!’ as soon as you reveal your creation, this magical merry-go-round isn’t nearly as complicated to make as you might think. Using the four silicone moulds, just follow the recipe included to make the sponge base and chocolate pieces then assemble them following the simple instructions – you’ll be amazed at how easily they are transformed into a perfect miniature of the classic funfair carousel. It’s sure to be the highlight of any kids’ party, after all, what do they love more than funfairs and cake?

this is just brilliant have made it lots of time so easy turns out perfect every time love it everything ive bought from lakeland has been so soooo good im hooked just bought another one for my sister she just loved it as well
Just used this for my daughters birthday - it turned out great! Moulding all the pieces was time consuming but I did that ahead of time and stored them until the big day. Constructing the carousel with the pieces was MUCH easier than I thought it would be. A tip? I frosted the pillars to a cardboard tube in the center.

I made this for my son's 1st birthday party using white chocolate and coloured candy for the carousel pieces. It WAS time consuming working with different colours (in future I would use white chocolate and then ice on top in different colours!) but it was worth it all when I brought the cake out and saw the look of amazement on all the guests' faces! Nobody believed that I made it until I showed them photos of me filling the moulds and constructing the cake...now everyone wants to borrow the moulds! All I would say is make the pieces in advance to allow time to reset the chocolate if necessary
