Stainless Steel Spice Mill

I realised when I saw the description of the size that it would not do for grinding the quantities of spices that I generally use. But I was looking for a decent sea/rock salt mill, to use in the kitchen also something cool looking to use on the table, so just thought this might work. It was sort of pricey, for a salt mill, but the one I had, and was fed up with, never worked properly and was only a bit cheaper (did buy it ages ago before lots of imports). This is brilliant and it's going to last.It works perfectly for how I want to add salt when cooking and at the table.

I bought this when my excellent electric Wahl grinder died. I was not prepared for the small size of this hand grinder and the fact that one has to twist the lid to get it to cut the spices - a lever handle would help. However, to grind enough spices for a saucepan of chutney would take an age - I tried it with coriander seeds and flaked chilli and was most unimpressed. Surely, I want the natural oils released into the chutney when I cut or grind the spice. Sorry, this is not worth the money or effort.
